Cassie Perkins Stembridge

Cassie Perkins Stembridge, age 84, died Friday, October 6, 2006, at Hospice House. The Rocky Ford, Georgia native was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley I. Stembridge, Sr. and three brothers, Walter, Louis and Mizell “Junior”.
Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley I., Jr. and Sally Stembridge, and Bobby “Eugene” Stembridge, all of Savannah, and Danny C. and Mona Stembridge of Richmond Hill; five grandchildren, Brian and Karen Stembridge of St. Augustine, FL, Michelle and Tom Durrence and Andrea and Greg Harris, all of Savannah, Tammy and Joey Wallace of Guyton and Jason and Jill Stembridge of Springfield; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Wilma Jones of Ridgeland, SC , Bertie Blalock and Katherine Shea, both of Rincon; three sisters-in-law, Joyce Perkins of Rincon, Evelyn “Dippie” Ellis and Christine Mobley, both of Savannah; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Sunday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
Burial will follow in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Brian Stembridge, Jason Stembridge, Tom Durrence, Greg Harris, Joey Wallace, and Ronnie Jones.
